Help Builders Take Action -- And Grow With a Team That Moves Fast
The Professional Builder helps residential builders and general contractors build better, more profitable businesses through coaching, systems, accountability, and implementation support.
We are proud to be a 2025 NZ Best Places to Work Finalist, and we do things differently. We are fast-moving, direct, supportive, ambitious, and serious about growth -- for our members and for our team.
We are looking for an Accountability Coach who wants more than "just another remote job." This role is for someone who is organised, switched-on, confident with people, and genuinely enjoys helping others follow through.
You do not need construction industry experience. We will train you. What matters most is your energy, ownership, communication, and ability to keep people moving.
What This Role Could Do For You
- This is a role where you can build real confidence, sharpen your communication skills, and learn how high-performing business coaching teams operate behind the scenes.
- You will be trusted to manage member conversations, think on your feet, spot when someone needs support, and help business owners keep taking action. You will get exposure to coaching systems, business growth frameworks, member success processes, and a team that is constantly learning and improving.
- You will not be sitting quietly in the background. You will be part of the rhythm of the business, working with people who care about performance, development, and doing work that actually makes a difference.
- For the right person, this is a place to grow faster than you might in a more traditional environment.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be the person who helps members turn good intentions into action.
That means:
- Running structured accountability calls each week
- Following up on goals, commitments, and action items
- Tracking progress, risks, wins, and engagement
- Keeping clear notes and updating internal systems
- Helping members focus on the right tools, resources, and next steps
- Spotting when someone is stuck and escalating concerns to Performance Coaches
- Working closely with coaches, member success, and the wider delivery team
This is not a passive "just checking in" role. You will ask good questions, create momentum, and help members do what they said they would do.
Who We're Looking For
You might come from customer success, coaching support, sales support, account management, member success, recruitment, admin, or another phone-based role.
You will likely thrive here if you:
- Communicate clearly and confidently on phone and video
- Have strong written and verbal English skills
- Are organised, reliable, and sharp with follow-up
- Like structure, pace, and clear expectations
- Can be warm with people, but still hold them accountable
- Are comfortable working remotely and using Zoom, Slack, CRM systems, and Google Workspace
- Take great notes and care about the details
- Are open to feedback and always looking to improve
We are looking for people who want flexibility but do not need hand-holding. People who enjoy ownership, pace, responsibility, and being part of a team that actually cares about performance.
What Life at TPB Is Like
- TPB is not built like a typical corporate workplace.
- We operate more like a professional sports team. We support each other, give direct feedback, celebrate wins, and hold high standards. We invest heavily in training and development because we want our people to keep getting better.
- You will have flexibility and autonomy, but you will also have structure, expectations, and people around you who want you to win. You will be encouraged to improve, trusted to own your work, and challenged to bring your best.
- No corporate fluff. No hiding in the background. No coasting.
- Just a sharp, ambitious team helping builders get better results.
What You'll Get
- Remote role with flexible structure: Contractor or employment structure may apply depending on your location and TPB's requirements.
- Competitive compensation: Pay is based on experience, region, and final role structure.
- Full training and support: You'll be trained in TPB's accountability systems, member success process, coaching frameworks, delivery rhythms, and internal tools.
- Access to world-class development: TPB invests heavily in team growth, including exposure to Taki Moore / Million Dollar Coach, Boardroom-style learning, Cole Gordon, Vinh Giang, Traffic & Funnels, and other high-level coaches and growth experts.
- Daily, weekly, and quarterly support: We run a peak-performance environment with regular feedback, team rhythms, coaching, and support to help you hit your goals.
- Work with sharp operators: You'll collaborate with Performance Coaches, Member Success, sales, marketing, and delivery leaders who are serious about getting results.
- Events and team experiences: Opportunities to attend company events, summits, retreats, and client experiences where applicable.
- No stale corporate culture: TPB left traditional corporate culture behind years ago. We operate like a professional sports team with high standards, honest feedback, and shared wins.
- Long-term growth: Strong performers can grow with TPB as the company continues scaling globally.
- Purpose-driven work: You'll help builders stay focused, follow through, and actually implement the plans that can change their businesses.
If you want to help people take action, grow your own skills, and be part of a fast-moving global team with high standards and real opportunity, this could be a brilliant next step.
