The Role:

Business Performance Coach

Your mission is simple: Coach builders to make more profit, reclaim their time, and scale successfully. You'll host coaching calls, drive accountability, track key business vitals, optimise financials and implement TPB's best practices to create results.

We want a Business Coaching Machine who we can go to battle with as we scale this to another level.


To crush it in this role, the goal is to achieve the following expectations:

  1. Churn Under 4%: Keep members engaged, active, and progressing
  2. Financial Reviews: Builders must improve profitability, cash flow, and time freedom through structured coaching.
  3. Wins & Renewals: You own your members' results. Track weekly wins and secure strong renewal rates (30% of members renew into the 2nd year).
  4. Boardroom Readiness: Identify high-level builders who are a fit for Boardroom Mastermind and guide them to that level.
  5. Relentless Accountability: If a builder is stuck, you own the problem and the solution.
  6. Referrals - Generate & Convert: Top coaches turn winning members into a referral engine. You're expected to actively generate referral opportunities from your cohort and convert them into new members.
  7. Accounts Receivable - Keep It Tight: Treat your cohort like your own business. If clients aren't paying, that's not an admin issue -- it's a coaching opportunity to help them win more, fix cash flow, and stay committed to their growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • You've got coaching, consulting or leadership experience (preferably in construction or financial performance space)
  • You understand cash flow, pricing and profitability levers, and can coach builders to scale their businesses the right way
  • You can handle fast-paced environments and keep multiple businesses accountable to hitting their numbers
  • You thrive in a performance-driven team where expectations are high, and results are what matter
  • You have exceptional communication skills - coaching isn't just about advice, it's about challenging, leading and driving action
  • You're coachable: even as a coach, you're committed to your personal growth
  • Problem Solver: You know how to solve problems, not just describe them. You have a PSR (Problem Solution Recommendation) approach to teamwork
  • Understands that this role isn't just coaching: it's managing and leading a portfolio of members and ensuring they succeed.

Your Day-To-Day Tasks Would Consist Of

  • Running 1-1 Coaching Calls: Hosting monthly Performance Checks and ongoing accountability sessions for your cohort.
  • Tracking Key Business Vitals: Monitoring builders' profitability, cash flow, pricing, and pipeline health using our Financial Software that members' numbers are connected to.
  • Driving Engagement & Activation: Ensuring builders show up, take action, and win.
  • Capturing & Sharing Wins: Weekly win tracking and monthly Member in Momentum videos showcasing builder success.
  • Helping Builders Fix Bottlenecks: Troubleshooting cash flow, team, sales, and operational issues to keep them moving forward.
  • Delivering High-Impact Training: Running live coaching workshops and high-level Boardroom Masterminds.
  • Collaborating with Success Coaches: Identifying disengaged members and re-engaging them before they churn.
  • Prepping & Delivering Boardroom-Ready Builders: Fast-tracking top builders into the high-level mastermind.
  • Driving Referrals & AR Discipline: Generating referrals from winning members and ensuring your cohort stays current on payments -- both are leading indicators of a healthy book.

  • $120k-$150k NZD (Base + Bonuses): Earn top-tier coaching pay with a clear bonus structure based on performance.
  • Bonus Structure: Performance coaches can earn an additional 20-40k+ from renewal commissions and referral bonuses. (Uncapped, the more renewals + referral conversions made, the more you'll earn)
  • Work As Required - Manage Your Own Schedule: You're expected to manage your schedule as you please, as long as you have exposure across 5 days, and you'll hustle when necessary. Most of our coaches work 4 days split across 5 - starting Monday afternoon and finishing early Friday. Many of our team are into fitness, food, family and travel, with some doing European summer trips, competing in ultra swims, and more.
  • Fully Remote Role: Work from anywhere, as long as you bring energy & execution to every call.
